Today at IMEX
IMEX week gets underway today with standout events including Association Focus at Kap Europa, headlined by Originate Institute CEO and Founder Sofya Abramchuk and Tillon Ltd Founder and MD Toby Bassford.
Delivered in association with ASAE, sponsored by Amsterdam Convention Bureau and in partnership with Encore, Association Focus is designed for IMEX’s large association executive cohort. The program is designed to help them to ground themselves in purpose, embrace new ways of working and design for impact.
Also running today is Exclusively Corporate, sponsored by Messe Frankfurt and Javits Center, in partnership with Encore, at the Melia Frankfurt. Created exclusively for corporate executives, the education and networking line-up features reluctant futurist Henry Coutinho-Mason, signature scent systems, nutrition for decision-making, and how an event series shifted female investor behavior.
Competing for headline IMEX opening-night status this evening are two signature events: the Association Social at Marriott Frankfurt and SITE Nite Europe at Depot 1899. (Our recommendation: go to both!)
Tomorrow, Halls 8 and Hall 9 open to IMEX attendees. Hall 8 is home to our global exhibitor line-up, while the newly redesigned Hall 9 hosts IMEX education. Learning spaces include the Inspiration Hub’s new Evolve, Rise and Flow theaters, the People and Planet Theater and the Research Pod, joined by the Impact Zone, the MPI and ICCA learning space, Encore and Event Design Collective spaces, and The College of Extraordinary Experiences.
Beyond Messe Frankfurt, the inaugural Place Leaders Forum takes place tomorrow at Marriott Frankfurt. The Forum brings together place leaders shaping the future of their destinations with business event leaders who can help turn ambition into action. Organized in collaboration with AIPC, CityDNA, Destinations International, GCB German Convention Bureau, ICCA, SANCBE and the U.S. Travel Association, under the auspices of EIC and JMIC.
If you’re attending IMEX for the first time, we recommend heading to the Food Market in Hall 9 at 9am tomorrow—for coffee and the first timers’ meet up—for a brilliant start to a brilliant week.
