Today
Tuesday at IMEX means stepping into a freshly built world of wonder, from Hall 9’s grown-up glow-up to Hall 8’s global imagination brought to life. Against this newly minted backdrop, it’s time to reconnect with industry friends old and new. How many hugs can you scoop up in one day?
Freshly inspired—and if you can make it past the Metahuman Choir without becoming mesmerized—head into the MPI and ICCA learning space (booth 9013) in Hall 9. From 10:05 to 10:35am, join IACC Meetings CEO, Mark Cooper as he shares IACC’s global research findings and invites you to envision the meeting room of the future.
Part of that future focus is designing for human needs. You can explore this in depth with AMEX GBT’s Sofia Eriksson and Pia Leimke from 10:10 to 10:50am in the uplifting new Rise theater at the Inspiration Hub in Hall 9. It’s the first of many design-focused sessions at IMEX this week (all part of our Design Matters Talking Point).
Adding their unique warmth and hospitality to the welcoming spirit of Hall 8, Kazakhstan takes over booth B260 from 11:30am to 1:30pm with activities, national costumes and giveaways. At 1:30pm, head to booth G100, where PromPerú invite you to explore the living heritage of Peruvian weaving. An Andean storyteller will share how every thread carries meaning, connecting communities, traditions and ways of life. From 2:30 to 3:30pm, find your herbal destiny at Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau booth G190, with a herbal tea specially crafted to complement and balance your energy.
At some point, you’ll need to grab a bite to eat. Hall 9’s newly redesigned Food Court is an excellent place to do just that. Grab a nutritious bowl of deliciousness, sit under an olive tree, and watch the world go by.
Back on the Design Matters track at the Inspiration Hub’s Evolve theater at 3:30pm, join VisitScotland’s Rory Archibald, LGBT MPA and C2’s Cameron Curtis and EMC Meetings & Events Charlene Lu. Together, they’ll take you beyond good intentions to show why inclusive events deliver better results.
Throughout the show, Snapsight are providing
real-time session summaries for all education in Hall 9’s Flow, Rise and Evolve theaters, plus the Research Pod and People and Planet Theater. So, if you’re too blown away by the content or the backdrop to take notes, you’ll have them all to hand anyway.
Tuesday evening at IMEX always means
CIMclubbing@IMEX—and this year, it also means singing your heart out at their new karaoke bar.
Tomorrow
CIMclubbers may have used up all their energy, but everyone else (and yes, we mean everyone!) will be heading down to the river bright and early for the IMEXrun. It’s sold out online, but you can still register in person today at Colombia booth F150. It’s also the perfect excuse to sample their life-affirming coffee at the same time.
