Hosted by the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau, the meetup encourages IMEX participants to connect beyond scheduled appointments in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Today’s meetings industry is shaped not only by business appointments, but by communities, conversations and the power of authentic storytelling. Initiatives such as the EventProfs Meetup at IMEX Frankfurt demonstrate how valuable collaboration with key opinion leaders, industry ambassadors and content creators has become in building meaningful international engagement within the MICE industry. At the Poland Convention Bureau, we see these partnerships as an important part of promoting Poland as a modern, creative and relationship-driven destination for meetings and events – says Jaroslaw Marciuk, Chief Marketing Specialist at Polsih Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau.
Poland Convention Bureau is widely recognised for its innovative approach to digital marketing and international promotion of Poland as a MICE destination, particularly through social media communication, creator collaborations and industry-focused storytelling initiatives.
The initiative responds to the growing importance of authentic networking and creator-driven communication within the meetings industry. As B2B trade shows increasingly embrace social media storytelling, community engagement and creator-led visibility, destinations and exhibitors are exploring new ways to connect with audiences beyond traditional meetings and sales presentations.
The growing “Instagramisation” of trade shows and the MICE sector reflects a wider shift towards more personal, experience-focused and shareable event interactions.

The true value of large events often comes from the small gatherings within them – the moments where strangers become conference buddies and communities begin to form – says Sina Bünte.
