darmstadtium - Highest events proceeds 2025 & sales record in April 2026

From May 19th till the 21st representatives of the international MICE-industry (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibition) will come together for the biggest event of its kind in Europe at Messe Frankfurt. Last year roughly 4,500 buyers from 97 countries were present at IMEX Frankfurt. You can meet the darmstadtium at the Frankfurt Convention Bureau’s stand in Hall 8, booth B120.

Highest events proceeds 2025 & sales record in April 2026

With 6.65 million Euros last year the darmstadtium reached its highest sales volume in its history with 169 events attended by 112,268 guests. Even though 2026 started slow the month of April will most likely turn an “April-sales-record” exceeding 650,000 Euros. The outlook for 2026 is positive as well.

Blue Angel for events

The new ecolabel the „Blue Angel for events“ certifies a holistic engagement, that can by convincingly communicated. The 6thFachkongress der Initiative Wohnen 2050 e.V., which will take place at the darmstadtium, is one of the first events striving to be certified.

Events outlook

The „3DEXPERIENCE WEEK 2026“ by DASSAULT Systemes will incorporate a series of events in the month of June. The 3DEXPERIENCE Conference will be accompanied by user meetings and workshops, the CATIA User Symposium and the SIMULIA Regional User Meeting Eurocentral. In October one of the biggest events for engineering and simulation, the CADFEM World Conference, will take place at darmstadtium. One month later the SAP ALM Summit EMEA will return with 600 professional SAP-users.

2027 is also already turning heads. The PaX Partnertagung, the annual meeting of the German Acoustical Society DAGA, the OMEXOM Technology Forum, the leading international conference on signal processing EUSIPCO 2027 as well as the 17th edition of the International Symposium on Automotive Lightning ISAL are firmly booked.

Frankfurt International Airport – the new Terminal 3

Especially as a venue for EMEA-conferences the darmstadtium profits from its ideal location and connection to the Frankfurt International Airport as well as the IC/ICE train station. The AirLiner, a modern bus shuttle, travels within 30 minutes between the congress center and the airport. The new terminal 3 has been operating for a few days now. There are two options for your connection to the darmstadtium. Guests can either still use the AirLiner and connect from terminal 1 via the new SkyLine-Rail. Alternatively the express-bus-lane X14 travels directly to terminal 3. The bus stop “Mathildenplatz” can be reached by foot from the darmstadtium.
