first time entering. four awards.
we submitted five projects to the Eventex Awards — the world's leading awards for events and experience marketing — and came back with four wins. Bronze across the board, in four different categories, alongside companies we genuinely respect in this industry.
for a team that has spent 20 years solving accommodation and logistics for large-scale events, and the last three years rebuilding our technology from the ground up, this lands as a meaningful milestone. Not because of the trophies. Because four different juries looked at four very different projects and reached the same conclusion: this works.
the four recognized projects
attendee management technology — bnetwork event accommodation management websites
relaunched in February 2025 after approximately 160 weeks of development, our platforms reposition accommodation as a core attendee management layer rather than a peripheral booking step. Event-driven design, real-time organizer visibility, controlled environments for speakers and corporate delegations, and a hybrid AI-plus-human support model — all built to handle complexity at scale.
the numbers behind the redesign: approximately 220 event accommodation websites migrated, supporting around 200 international events in 2026, with peak traffic averaging 40,000 page views daily. Page response time stabilized below 1 second, against 4–5 seconds in 2024. The new architecture displays more than 5,000 hotels and apartments in a single map view, against around 300 previously. Post-interaction satisfaction scores now average between 4.6 and 4.8 out of 5.
exhibition technology — accommodation websites for exhibition management
the same platform infrastructure, configured for the specific demands of exhibitions and trade shows: peak-night pressure, extended stays, and large exhibitor delegations. Public booking platforms run alongside private, event-branded environments for exhibitors, speakers, and staff — each with selected hotels and negotiated conditions. Organizers replace fragmented spreadsheets with live data on bookings, hotel uptake, allotments, and availability throughout the exhibition lifecycle.
the platforms support major exhibitions and congresses including Cannes Film Festival, Cannes Lions, COP30, Roland Garros, INTA, and CheckPoint, among others. The service is free for organizers; the business model relies on revenue-sharing with destination partners and venues.
event sustainability solution — bnetwork sustainability tracker
certified accommodation visibility positioned exactly where booking decisions are made. Real-time percentages, social proof, and a one-click sustainable filter from the homepage. 34 recognized certifications including Green Key, EarthCheck, EU Ecolabel, ISO 14001 and verified hotel partner programs — annually verified by sustainability consultants and integrated into the booking flow across our event portfolio in 40+ destinations.
the impact since the February 2025 redesign: sustainable bookings rose from 64.6% in 2024 to 73% in 2025, an 8-point increase representing nearly 100,000 additional sustainable room nights annually. Certified properties within our hotel network grew from 12% to 15% over the same period, indicating that visibility at the decision moment also incentivizes certification uptake among hotels.
plan B — transport contingency plan for a massive general strike in Paris
on September 7, 2025, EADV Congress organizers contacted bnetwork: a general strike was confirmed for September 18, with 800,000 demonstrators expected across the country and Paris Metro service severely disrupted. 20,000 dermatology professionals were due to attend. Timeline to delivery: 10 days. Working days: 7.
what we built in that window: 60 vehicles across 8 optimized routes, 45 shuttle hotels, 41 staff members briefed and positioned, designed to move approximately 5,000 passengers in each direction with morning departures every 20 minutes on high-volume routes. On the day, Metro service was less disrupted than anticipated and around 1,800 attendees used the shuttle system. The Congress ran as planned — no session cancellations, no speaker delays, no stranded attendees.
contingency planning succeeds by what does not happen. This succeeded because professionals with deep large-event experience designed a plan that absorbed surprises rather than fought them.
about the 16th edition of the Eventex Awards
the 16th edition saw 1,405 entries from 58 countries — a record-breaking edition for one of the industry's most established competitions. Entries are evaluated by an independent jury of journalists from leading event publications, association heads, convention bureau representatives, and senior creative and strategic leaders from around the world.
the US tops the country leaderboard with 101 awards, followed by Qatar and Poland sharing second place with 73 awards each. Poland leads the platinum count with 5, followed by Austria with 4, while Qatar, Spain, and the UK each have 2 platinum awards.
what this confirms
we did not enter to win. We entered to find out whether work that feels right from the inside also reads as substantial from the outside. The answer, across attendee technology, exhibition technology, sustainability, and crisis logistics, is yes.
"twenty years of solving accommodation and logistics for large-scale events, three years of rebuilding our technology from the ground up — and four awards on our first time entering. The recognition matters because it came from four different juries, looking at four very different projects, and arriving at the same answer. That is the part we are proud of." - Bruce Gonzalvez, CPO.
