Back with an impact: MICE Impact
This week MICE Impact is once again expanding the IMEX experience into a holistic platform for the German-speaking business events community, shaped around the guiding principles of people, planet and purpose.
Designed to go beyond traditional formats, the initiative combines professional education, meaningful networking and industry-led transformation. It brings together the international community and German-speaking buyers through a carefully curated program.
At the heart of the initiative is the Impact Zone in Hall 9, curated by MICE Impact and open throughout IMEX show days. The Zone serves as a freely accessible hub for learning, exchange and co-creation, welcoming buyers, exhibitors and partners alike. Across all three days, the program features keynotes, panel discussions, best-practice sessions and workshops. Topics include sustainable transformation, innovation, leadership, collaboration and future skills, all grounded in the practical realities of the events industry.
The program is further shaped by two themed days. Impact Tuesday focuses on sustainability in its environmental, social and business impact, exploring how the industry can actively contribute to positive change. People and Culture Wednesday turns the spotlight on human-centered leadership, organizational culture, and new ways of working together. International speakers and experts share perspectives on growth mindset, change leadership and cultural transformation, offering practical inspiration for everyday business.
The Impact Experience began before the show opened at yesterday’s MICE Impact Academy at memox Messe, delivering hands-on education through workshops and deep-dive sessions focused on sustainable and impact-driven event design. The MICE Impact Lounge, hosted at Palais Frankfurt, offers an invitation-only networking format for selected planners and international partners, with a focus on co-creation, authentic exchange and meaningful connection.
Tonight’s fully booked Impact Night completes the program with a high-energy evening networking event in a curated rooftop setting at the stunning Kreisler.
Throughout IMEX week, the Impact Experience connects learning, community building and inspiration across the event value chain. Qualified meeting planners on a hosted buyer program gain deeper integration into the curated experience.
