Following a year-long extensive renovation, all public areas, event and meeting spaces, and the hotel’s  spacious courtyard deck are redesigned from floor to ceiling. The refurbishment also introduces a  completely new restaurant concept—NORD—along with elevated guest services that reflect the hotel’s  commitment to eƯortless Nordic hospitality.   Helsinki—Finland’s vibrant seaside capital—is known for its clean design aesthetic, sustainable lifestyle,  and relaxed Nordic atmosphere. The hotel now embodies these same qualities following a comprehensive  transformation designed by renowned Finnish design studio Vertti & Co, led by the famous Finnish interior  designer Vertti Kivi.  “The aim of the design was to create an elevated hub for business and events, with state-of-the-art meeting  spaces that embody the active space philosophy. Carefully crafted lighting design allows the spaces to  adapt fluidly to diƯerent atmospheres,” Head of Design Vertti Kivi explains. “The entire hotel now reflects  the timeless elegance of the Radisson brand — with a distinct Helsinki twist, of course.”  Located in Kamppi, one of Helsinki’s central districts, the hotel oƯers immediate access to the capital’s  cultural attractions, restaurants, shopping areas, and excellent transport connections.

Modern, Peaceful Rooms Designed for Rest  The hotel features 261 modern, peaceful, and stylish rooms, including 8 suites. All rooms have been  designed to ensure a high-quality sleep experience with premium beds, thoughtful amenities, and a calm  interior atmosphere. The rooms oƯer the comfort and quiet needed for both business and leisure travellers seeking a relaxing  stay in the city centre.

State-of-the-Art Event and Meeting Facilities    One of the most significant upgrades is the transformation of the hotel’s conference and event spaces. The  hotel now oƯers:    13 fully modernised meeting and banquet rooms   Advanced audiovisual and lighting solutions   Flexible layouts suitable for conferences, seminars, gala dinners, and private events    The largest venue, the Royal Ballroom, has already become highly sought after for corporate and  international events.  “Our customers have been eagerly awaiting the reopening, and the demand has exceeded all  expectations,” says General Manager Mika Virtanen. “Reservations for the Royal Ballroom now extend  well into 2027 and beyond.”

New Nordic Dining: Restaurant NORD    The hotel’s new restaurant, NORD, highlights the flavours of the Nordic region. The menu blends beloved  Finnish classics—such as traditional salmon soup—with modern seasonal dishes. At street level, the  renewed Royal Bar welcomes both locals and travellers, while the private dining venue Johan oƯers an  intimate setting for group dinners and exclusive breakfasts.

Dedicated Hospitality and Seamless Service  Guests and event clients can enjoy the attention of a dedicated Hospitality Host, who serves as a personal  point of contact and ensures the smooth execution of each event from planning to completion. “Our  international and domestic guests expect perfectly smooth service and premium quality,” Virtanen adds.  “We take pride in ensuring that every detail is ready and thoughtfully considered the moment our guests  arrive.”  Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Helsinki  Address: Runeberginkatu 2, 00100 Helsinki, Finland  261 modern rooms, including 8 suites  Designed for quality sleep experience  Restaurant NORD, Royal Bar, and private restaurant Johan  13 fully redesigned event and meeting venues for up to 800 guests  Rooftop sauna for private gatherings  More information and bookings:  Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Helsinki City Center, Kamppi / Iris Kiviharju [email protected]
